I am an independent architect based in Stuttgart, Germany. Born here in 1974, I gained experience in the offices of internationally renowned architects such as Eric Owen Moss in Los Angeles, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in New York, and Peter Zumthor in Haldenstein. After sailing around the world, I founded my own architectural practice in Stuttgart in 2017. Since then, I have been offering a full range of services—from initial needs assessment and design development to coordination with authorities and construction management. My services cover all classic fields of architecture: conversion, extension, and new construction.

Working in multicultural environments and traveling widely have given me a flexible, open way of thinking that has become central to my approach. In line with this, I have a particular passion for the transformation of existing buildings. The challenge of turning even seemingly ordinary architecture into something new and meaningful is both the driving force and inspiration behind my work. At the same time, this approach reflects a forward-looking and ecological understanding of architecture.

My life experience, the diverse encounters I have had, and my shifting perspectives on various social contexts enable me to better understand my clients’ living environments, collaborate effectively with craftsmen, and develop tailored solutions. At the same time, I hold high standards of design: function, lines, proportions, colours, light, and materials are carefully harmonised and attuned to each individual client. Together, these elements form a whole that creates a distinctive atmosphere and way of living. As an architect I am trained to take a comprehensive approach, combining technical and practical aspects with artistic considerations throughout every project.
